Finally, money habits that make sense.

Where your money goes and where you want it to go are rarely the same thing. Hemisphere helps close the gap.

A few rules, built into how it works

This is not just a place to store numbers. These are the ideas all of Hemisphere is built around, and you can see each one on screen.

Every dollar gets a job

Income comes in, then gets assigned out, until what is left to spend is a real number instead of a guess.

Up and running in a few minutes

The budgeting works the same on both plans. The one real difference is how your spending and balances get in, and stay current: by hand on Free, or on autopilot when you connect a bank on Premium.

On both plans

Set a budget (start from a template), track your bills and goals, and watch your net worth move, all in one place. Then pick how you keep it current.

FreeYou keep it current

By hand, in full control

  1. 1Add your accounts and their starting balances.
  2. 2Log transactions as you go, or in one quick sitting on Sunday.
  3. 3Nudge a balance whenever it changes.

PremiumIt keeps itself current

Connect a bank, set it once

  1. 1Connect your bank through Stripe’s secure flow. We never see your login.
  2. 2Your transactions refresh every day, and balances update on demand, so the numbers stay current without you typing them.
  3. 3Spending lands in the right category, and anything you also added by hand is matched up, so nothing is counted twice.

Your whole financial life set up in minutes. US banks, up to three, and you can still add cash or anything else by hand.

Try it yourself, in 30 seconds

Sample a budget and watch Hemisphere do the adding-up for you, the free way or the Premium way. Nothing is saved, and no signup.

From there it is the same dashboard either way: what is safe to spend, what is coming up, and whether you are on pace, with deeper reports and payoff tools waiting on Premium.

We never hold your bank login

Nothing is connected until you say so, and Premium sync runs through Stripe so your bank password never reaches us.

Your card never touches us

Payments run entirely through Stripe, so we never see or store your card number.

No ads, no data selling

We make money only when you choose to upgrade, never by selling what you tell us.

The longer version lives on the features page, privacy section included.

Honest about the trade-offs

Spreadsheets put the math on you. Auto-sync apps demand a bank login at the door. Hemisphere starts by hand and automates only when you say so.

Spreadsheets

Flexible, but all on you.

  • Private, and it stays on your machine
  • You build and maintain every formula
  • One broken cell quietly wrecks the math
Auto-sync apps

Automatic, at a price.

  • Low effort once it's running
  • A bank login is the price of entry
  • Many earn from your data
Hemisphere

Start by hand. Automate when you choose.

  • A working budget in minutes, with the math handled
  • Bank sync is a choice (Premium), never a toll
  • No ads. Your data is never sold

Start where you are.

You do not need a clean slate or a perfect setup. Open Hemisphere halfway through a messy month and start from today. The point is not a flawless record, it is finally seeing where your money goes.

Built for realistic budgeting

I built this for myself first. I wanted to see my whole financial picture in one place, and every app I tried demanded my bank login before it would show me anything at all.

It was being forced that bothered me, not the automation. I wanted to look around first and decide later. The apps that did not ask were either packed with features I never touched, or they pushed streaks and alerts at me until I stopped opening them.

So I made the one I wanted. You start by hand, see the whole picture on day one, and nothing is gated behind a bank login. Then, when you would rather stop typing, Premium connects your accounts and keeps the month current on its own, with the coaching and the deeper reporting that come with it. Both ways are the real thing. The free one is not a trial version of the paid one.

Quiet by design. No ads, no streaks pulling you back in, and nothing about your money for sale.

Questions, answered

No. Everything is manual by default: you type in your accounts and spending, and Hemisphere does the math, with no bank login required. On Premium you can optionally connect a US bank (up to three) so transactions and balances sync automatically, and manual entry still works right alongside it.

Yes, and free forever, no credit card. You get all 37 budget categories, unlimited transactions, net worth tracking, a dashboard that shows where the month is going, email reminders, and two-factor security. The only caps are on income sources (3), bills (8), accounts (5), and goals (3).

Not at all. This was built for people who never got the money lesson in school. There is no jargon and no judgment: you start exactly where you are, and Hemisphere keeps the math and the reminders quiet and simple.

Yes. Whether you are salaried, hourly, or paid whenever the work comes in, you budget what you actually have, and any unused room rolls forward into the leaner months.

Everything in Free with the limits lifted, plus optional bank sync (connect up to three US banks), transaction splitting, the full ledger with CSV and XLSX export, net-worth history, loan-payoff and debt-strategy tools, deeper reports, text reminders, and your graded money-habits report. Premium is free for 14 days, and if anything is broken in your first two weeks we will refund you in full.

Yes. Nothing about your money is ever sold or shared, your card details go straight to Stripe so we never see them, and you are never required to hand over a bank login to use Hemisphere.
